Abstract

The use of used plastic and used paper to produce an alternative in the use of media in the process of visual processing specifically graphic artwork, this step is one of the efforts to save the environment with the help of art. By utilizing used goods, mostly used paper, plastic will not directly reduce the damage caused by plastic and paper materials. Paper and plastic are explored as sustainable media, while graphic art works are not only an aesthetic realm, but seniors as a way to provide awareness and care will discuss the environment. This creation uses monoprint and collage techniques as techniques for exploration and ideas in the art process.

Abstract

The lesson from life as farm family inspire personal life to patient, work hard, simple, sharing and help each other in daily life and also contribute to self-maturing. Purpose of create this printmaking artwork is creating printmaking artwork which take form thankfulness as farm family and also explain about concept, process creating and visual aesthetic result from printmaking artwork. Form of thankfulness as farm family is visualized in printmaking artwork with relief print technic use hardboardcut on paper. These creating printmaking artworks give more insight from empirical experience in creating printmaking artwork and also deepen about concept form thankfulness as farm family

Abstract

The Javanese who live in the Central Java region are known for their cultural strength. This can be seen from how they uphold the heritage traditions of their ancestors. Besides that, Central Javanese people are easily known through their typical costume. Kebaya and its equipment from head to toe, it is said that initially only used by the royal community had a quite interesting value and philosophy. For decades kebaya as part of history, experienced various changes in line with the era that continues to run. The most important thing is that kebaya is no longer an everyday outfit like in the past.This research paper uses qualitative research using a cultural approach. This study aims to find out (1) changes in values and philosophies such as what happened to kebaya clothing specifically used in the Central Java region; (2) whether today's kebaya can still be called traditional clothing, especially with various changes caused by current conditions.

Abstract

Art is making quality work that can be enjoyed by others. The stages of making art are determined by ideas, ideas and being able to reconstruct into valuable works of art. One way to get ideas, ideas is to make observations. One object that can be used as observation is Ameba. Joan Miro and Santiago Calatrava are among the artists whose works are inspired by Amoeba or biomorphics. The purpose of this study is to find out how far artists explore and produce high-value works with Amoeba or biomorphics as the basic ideas in making art.

Abstract

Kampung as the important factor the culture of a city plays important role in teh city develpoment. The community movements in managing their environment has become an interesting thing to discuss. This reserach is a qualitative study on the comunity creativity residing in Kali Boro riverside. It exproses the activities that the community caries in managing their environment through art. The data are collected trough interview and literatures. The results of this research shows that art can attract the community in Kali Boro riverside to actively participate in the environment improvement and trigger their creativity. Keywords: Kampung, creativity, art.

Abstract

Playing video games is basically an activity where it must have an stimulus energy which is commonly referred to as motivation. Without motivation, player will not be interested in playing a video game with a long duration. The Harvest Moon Back to Nature video game as a video game that was quite successful, which made the video game a legendary video game for the audience's audience as early as 1997. Harvest Moon Back to Nature looks so strong in representating about social life of rural communities, especially one who works as a farmer. It creates interest which in turn encourages researchers to know more about how motivation for human needs is presented by the Harvest Moon Back to Nature video game. This research fundamentally use interpretative analytical descriptive method with narrative approach. Using a view from ERG theory Clayton Alderfer, which according to him motivation is related to basic human needs which consist of existence needs, relatedness needs, and growth needs. In increasing one's motivation, the three basic human needs must be fulfilled wherever possible. From the results of the research conducted using these instruments, it can be concluded that the power of motivation has been presented in the Harvest Moon Back to Nature video game from the fulfillment of existence needs, relatedness needs, and growth needs, both in the context events of farming, raising, and in carrying out other events.

Abstract

 Javanese traditional ornaments are one of the richness of the archipelago's culture. A variety of craft works in the form of decorative motifs from various ethnic Archipelago has given rise to a style with its own characteristics and uniqueness. The focus of this study is to explain the traditional Javanese decorative motifs. The study of motif reconstruction as a method of developing and preserving traditional Javanese decorative motifs, as an alternative design of wood craft products.Qualitative methods and explorative experimental methods are used as a basis for analyzing and translating experimental reconstruction designs for the visual development of wood crafts in Indonesia that are Indonesian, unique and varied. The development of alternative designs with various reconstructions of traditional ornamental motifs will enrich the repertoire of traditional fine arts culture in Indonesia.
